Sharktooth Anchor

The Sharktooth Anchor is the body that is set in concrete. It is recessed so the only outer part visible after setting is the front with the inward pointing serrated edges. The Sharktooth Anchor housing  and the supporting weld stud are all below the surface.

Sharktooth Insert

The Sharktooth Insert functions as an external lock into the anchor as well as an internally threaded nut to allow for the threading of a bolt. The insert is approximately 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" with a height of 3/4". The outer edges are serrated to interlock with the Sharktooth Anchor. The captive spring on the back maintains continual pressure on the insert to hold it in the desired location until it is tightened in place.

Note: The Sharktooth Insert can be purchased in any length from 3" to 144" (12 ft.) To prohibit wet cement from entering the cavity it will be delivered with plastic end caps and a duct taped face. The end caps remain in place for the life of the anchor. The duct tape is removed immediately prior to installation.
