Rod anchors are used to create a connection between masonry (such as concrete or brick walls) and structural steel. They allow for the masonry to be braced against a steel member against expansion and contraction forces. The rise in the anchor provides vertical differential movement between the steel and masonry members.
The diagram above shows several measurements of every rod anchor. For manufacturing, please provide The Steel Supply Company with the required diameter, weldment length, travel length, rise height, and overall length of the anchor.
